Man dead after falling off deck in Newark

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Newark police say a 20-year-old man is dead after he fell off a back deck and struck his head.

It happened around 5:00 a.m. Sunday in the unit block of East Park Place.

Police say the victim was socializing with friends on a back deck when he fell.

The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are withholding the man's name, and say no foul play is suspected.
