Woman, 80, injured in crash on I-495 in New Castle, Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- An 80-year-old female was seriously injured in a crash in New Castle, Delaware.

The three-vehicle crash happened around 6 p.m. Sunday on I-495 near Route 141.

Officials say the 80-year-old suffered head and facial injuries and remains hospitalized.

Two other people at the scene were checked out by paramedics.

There was no word on what caused this crash.
