Fallen tree brings down wires, damages SUV in New Castle County

A fallen tree in New Castle County brought down wires and damaged an SUV.

Police say the tree came down around 8:30 a.m. Friday on Route 41 at Cheltenham Road.

The tree caused minor damage to the front of a vehicle.

The driver was not injured.

Route 41 was closed for a few hours between McKennans Church and Hercules roads.
