Newark Welcome Center is now the Biden Welcome Center

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware is honoring one of its favorite sons, former senator, and vice president Joe Biden.

Monday, Governor John Carney signed a law to rename the I-95 Welcome Center in Newark as the "Biden Welcome Center."

Biden's late son, Beau, also held office in the state and served as attorney general.

The former VP was on hand, along with his wife Jill for today's dedication.
