Man robbed and shot in New Castle, Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Three men shot another man during a robbery in New Castle.

It happened before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Freedom Trail.

Police say a 22-year-old man had his cell phone stolen, and he was shot in the back.

Three men wearing masks were seen running from the area.

The victim was being treated for serious injuries.
