Shots fired at Wilmington Halloween event; 1 arrested

WILMINGTON, Del. -- A man was arrested after shots were fired at a busy Halloween event in Wilmington early Sunday morning.

Police say Tyler Vega, 25, of New Castle was taken into custody along the 1700 block of Delaware Avenue.

The shots rang out as a crowd was leaving the Halloween Loop event in Trolley Square.

Police say a gun was recovered.

There were no injuries reported.
