Woman shot dead in Wilmington identified

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say a 47-year-old woman was found shot dead in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 5 a.m. Thursday on the 900 block of Spruce Street.

The victim, Shirley Coleman had been shot multiple times.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any more information about the case.
