Police search for dirt bike thieves in North Philadelphia

Police are looking to identify three thieves who stole a pair of dirt bikes from the backyard of a home in the Franklinville section of North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking to identify three thieves who stole a pair of dirt bikes from the backyard of a home in the Franklinville section of North Philadelphia.

The incident happened on the 700 block of West Ontario Street back on March 26.

The three suspects were caught on surveillance pulling up to the home just after 4 a.m.

One suspect can be seen cutting the lock to the victim's rear fence before they carefully removed the dirt bikes and placed them into a light-colored minivan.

Prior to the theft, one male can be seen on surveillance casing the home and checking out the bikes. He left the scene in a silver sedan.

The suspects are described as three Hispanic males. They were driving a light-colored minivan and light-colored sedan. Possibly a Honda with chrome rims.
