Philadelphia police are looking for a man they believe stabbed two people in Center City.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a man they believe stabbed two people in Center City.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 4 a.m. Saturday at 17th and Walnut Street.

Upon arrival, they said a 31-year-old male told them he was stabbed at 13th and Walnut Street before becoming unresponsive.

The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital for a stab wound to his lower abdomen. He is listed in critical condition.

Officers were also called to Jefferson University Hospital for a report of a stabbing victim.

Upon arrival, they met with a 27-year-old man who was transported by taxi with a stab wound to his lower, left abdomen.

That victim told police he had an altercation with a man at the 1200 block of St. James Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 23 years of age, with a caramel-colored complexion, around 5 feet 6-7 inches with a medium build. He was seen wearing a purple-hooded sweatshirt and a tan jacket.
