Driver crashes vehicle into bushes off I-76 ramp in Wynnefield Heights

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS -- Police say a driver lost control and crashed a vehicle into some brush in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on the City Avenue ramp to westbound I-76.

The driver's vehicle left the highway before ending up in snow and shrubs.

Medics arrived and treated the unidentified driver at the scene for injuries said to be minor.

There was no immediate word why the driver lost control.
