Driver flees traffic stop, flips car onto basketball court

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A driver fleeing Philadelphia police flipped his car onto a Frankford basketball court then ran from the scene.

It began shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday on the 5700 block of Cottage Street.

Officers say the suspect sped away from a traffic stop.

The chase ended when the driver crashed at Charles Street and East Cheltenham Avenue.

Police are continuing to search for the suspect.
