Driver slams into utility pole in Prices Corner, Del.

PRICES CORNER, Del. -- A driver slammed into a utility pole that knocked out power for 1,200 customers in Prices Corner, Delaware Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. at Newport Gap Pike and Old Capital Trail.

The driver was treated at the scene.

Delmarva Power says power should be restored by 11:00 a.m.

The crash is under investigation.
