2 men rob Metro PCS store at gunpoint in East Oak Lane

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Two men got away with cash after they robbed a Philadelphia Metro PCS store at gunpoint.

The robbery happened at 5 p.m. Monday at the store located on the 6200 block of Front Street in East Oak Lane.

The suspects were armed with a large handgun as they demanded access to the register.

They took more than $1,000 and fled the store on foot.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia Police.
