NJ Evesham Twp. Police to hire armed guards for schools

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A local police department in New Jersey is now recruiting armed guards to protect students in Evesham Township.

Officials say they will hire a number of safety officers to work at schools throughout the district.

They are specifically looking for retired law enforcement officers who live in New Jersey.
