School bus driver encourages kids through decorations

A Kansas school bus driver goes the extra mile for her students to ensure they're not just safe, but to encourage them.

Jan Dumcum has decorated her bus for the season

It's currently filled with Halloween decor to greet the 50 students who ride her bus daily.

She says she does this to make the kids feel good about themselves.

In addition to the decorations, Dumcum has added a bell by the door.

"I decided they would announce they were going to have a good day by ringing the bell and then in the evening, when they rang the bell, that meant they had a good day," Dumcum said.

Dumcum calls the students her extended family.

She says she wants them to know that the sky's the limit and that they can do anything.
