A 93-year-old woman in North Carolina finally has her library card, more than 70 years after she was denied one.
Pearl Thompson was turned down in 1942, because she was African-American.
She was a college student and was forced to read the book she wanted in the basement, then return it.
Librarians there heard about the story, and said they wanted to right a wrong.
They decided to hold a special ceremony to finally give Thompson her card.
