Eid in the Park sends message of diversity

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A gathering in Fairmount Park Tuesday celebrated diversity.

Philadelphia Eid in the Park is was held outside the Please Touch Museum.

Eid al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

This event brings together people from Muslim communities to drive home the message that all differences must be respected.
