Billy Joel returns to Citizens Bank Park in August

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The 'Piano Man' himself is returning to Philadelphia this summer for a concert at Citizens Bank Park.

Live Nation announced Thursday that Billy Joel will perform for the fourth time at the Phillies ballpark on Thursday, August 13th.

Tickets go on sale January 30th at 10:00 a.m.

Joel last performed at Citizens Bank Park in August 2014 in front of a sold-out crowd.

With this concert, Joel will set the record for live performances by an artist in Citizens Bank Park's history.

The singer/songwriter/composer is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time, the third best-selling solo artist and is one of the highest grossing touring artists in the world.
