This week on FYI Philly, it's time to get hopping for the 86th annual Easter promenade. We meet a designer creating the eternal spring. Philadelphia's so-called seafood whisperer has found a new home in Haddonfield. After the meal, we devour hand-crafted small-batch desserts made in South Jersey. Plus, we're backstage on Broadway with a look at some family-friendly shows coming to town.

Time to get hopping! Easter's on its way. For Philly, there's a long tradition of celebrating.

It all happens on South Street

Hippity hoppity, Easter is on its way. And for Philadelphia, there is a LONG tradition of celebrating. We're talking about the Easter Promenade, now in its 86th year! So break out those fancy bonnets and Sunday best and meet us on South Street.

The Promenade starts at 5th and South and ends at Headhouse Square on 2nd street, with live music, an Easter egg hunt and a costume competition in 12 categories and prizes. Henri David, aka Mr. Halloween, is the master of ceremonies, and our own Alicia Vitarelli will be there along with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail.
