Talking 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch'
Hedwig and the Angry Inch is showing at the Forrest Theatre.

Another taste of Broadway is now playing here in Philadelphia.

The local engagement of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" is now playing in Center City.

The story follows the life of Hedwig, a rock singer from East Germany, and the obstacles she has faced trying to make it in show business.

The show features plenty of flash, rock music, and comedy.

It also tries to strike an important message of acceptance with the audience.

"Hedwig is really just saying, 'Am I worthy of love? What is love? And when I find love, will it be good, will it be kind, will it be real?' And by the end of the evening, so am I," actor Euan Morton who plays Hedwig told Action News.

"Hedwig and the Angry Inch" runs at the Forrest Theatre at 11th and Walnut through Sunday.

Tickets are available online.
