Snoop Dogg to perform at this year's Musikfest

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- International hip hop superstar Snoop Dogg will be one of this year's headlining acts at Musikfest in Bethlehem.

Snoop Dogg will perform on the festival's Sands Steel Stage on August 15th at 8 p.m.

Since the release of his platinum-selling debut album in 1993, Snoop Dogg has sold more than 35 million albums around the globe and starred in dozens of television shows and movies.

Snoop's hits include "Drop It Like It's Hot (featuring Pharrell Williams)," "What's My Name," "Gin and Juice" and "Doggy Dog World," as well guest appearances on hits by several other artists including Akron's "I Want to Love You," The Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons" and Katy Perry's chart topper "California Gurls."

Tickets for the August 15th Musikfest concert are $39-$49 and go on sale starting May 5th at 10 a.m. to ArtsQuest Members and May 8th at 10 a.m. to the public.

Musikfest is one of the largest music festivals in the nation. The festival is set for August 7-16 in Bethlehem, Pa., with more than 500 performances, including acts from Culture Club, O.A.R. with Allen Stone, Jerry Seinfeld, REBA, ZZ Top, 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul, Darius Rucker, Alice in Chains, and more.
