Drivers trapped after large tree falls on Lincoln Drive

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Part of Lincoln Drive was closed overnight after a large tree fell across the road in Fairmount Park.

It happened just after midnight Sunday near Gypsy Lane.

City work crews were called to cut up the tree and remove it from the road.

Many drivers were stuck on Lincoln Drive for several hours as they were unable to turn around.

There were no injuries.
