Boy breaks down at military father's homecoming
A young boy breaks down at his military father's homecoming in Ireland.

Irish military worker and father, Ian Gavagan, recently returned home to Ireland.

Gavagan had been away for six months in the Golan Heights, a region in the Levant.

The Levant refers to a large area in the Eastern Mediterranean and although the definition varies, it often includes the following countries: Cyprus, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey.

The video shows Gavagan's daughter and wife running and embracing him. His son, Sean, was overcome with emotion and broke down in tears after seeing his father.

Gavagan walks over to his son to give him a hug in the emotional reunion.
