Son pays off parents mortgage

A successful iPhone app maker gave his parents the surprise of a lifetime and it's become an instant sensation online.

Joe Riquelme's folks thought they were done with giving gifts Christmas afternoon.

But Joe then nonchalantly handed them a letter letting them know he paid off their mortgage.

His parents were equally stunned.

The New York developer created the app "Videoshop."

The app has made enough money, so he could pay his parents back for some of what they'd done for him, raising kids, college loans and a mortgage for the family's house.
