Couple weds at premature baby's bedside
The north Texas couple exchanged vows at the hospital where one twin was stillborn and the other born premature

FORT WORTH, TX -- It wasn't the dream wedding a north Texas couple could have ever imagined, but they're making the most out of a difficult situation.

Kristi Warriner and Justin Nelson went through the pain of having one of their twins stillborn and another born premature in September at Cook Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth, reports WFAA in Dallas.

Two months later, they tied the knot in the at the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, right by the side of their surviving twin, J.J., who weighed just one pound, 13 ounces at birth.

For eight weeks, JJ and his parents have been living at the hospital, so Kristi and Justin figured it was the perfect place to make their love official. JJ was dressed in tuxedo onesie and fulfilled ring bearer duties.

Kristi and Justin hope in the next month or so, they'll get the perfect wedding gift - being able to bring JJ home.

"We thank God every day for J.J. getting better and stronger. Our biggest mission with all this was to help others know they are not alone," Warriner told the Star-Telegram. "I hope we've touched somebody's life and let them know there is hope after tragedy."

The bride's "something blue" was her NICU visitor's wristband.
