WITCHES & WIZARDS WEEKEND
It's the Witches & Wizards Weekend in Chestnut Hill. The event, which used to be called the Harry Potter Festival, kicks off Friday with the Brews & Broomsticks Pub Crawl. On Saturday there will be several family-friendly activities such as the Quidditch Tournament at Chestnut Hill College, and live circus performers, an archery range, Mad Science demonstrations, Harvest Hayrides, shopping, and more throughout the Chestnut Hill Business District. BOO AT THE ZOO
Families are invited to celebrate halloween with Boo at the Zoo. Children are invited to wear costumes and trick or treat. The Philadelphia Zoo and Elmwood Park Zoo's event runs Saturdays and Sundays before Halloween.

HUGE WEEKEND FOR LOCAL SPORTS
It's a busy pro sports weekend in Philly with four local teams in action. Kicking things off is the the Flyers hosting the New Jersey Devils, Saturday at 1 p.m. Flyers tickets
The Sixers play their first weekend home game of the season. They tip off against the Orlando Magic Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Sixers tickets
The 3-3 Eagles are preparing for a showdown against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers at Lincoln Financial Field with kickoff Sunday at 1 p.m. Eagles tickets
