Lagos is a brand that is based right here in Philadelphia, but fans come from all over the country to grab signature pieces at the deepest discounts of the year.

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Starting Friday, November 4, it's the sale jewelry lovers wait all year for.

Lagos is a brand that is based right here in Philadelphia, but fans come from all over the country to grab signature pieces at the deepest discounts of the year.

And it's all happening at a warehouse in the city's Northern Liberties section.

"This is very special. This is a tradition now. People look forward to it," said Lagos Senior VP of Marketing, Isabelle Scarchilli.

That's because it's the one and only time a year - everything Lagos is half off.

"The ladies here put it on their calendar but people travel for this sample sale. We have people emailing and calling us - it's really a cult now," said Isabelle.

From cocktail rings to necklaces to semi precious stones of every shape and color.

And then of course - diamonds!

Every gem, jewel and bauble will be on sale for 50% off!

Regulars of the sale know that there can be a wait to get up to the sale floor, but they say the crowd typically slims down during the later part of the day.

Isabelle tells Action News they only let a small group in at a time, so you can take your time browsing, trying on and of course, shopping.

"It's an experience. People come with friends and family and talk about what they will pick for loved ones for holiday gifts," she said.

Lagos is a local company that was started 39 years ago by Steven Lagos, who creates his signature designs right here in Philadelphia.

"We are known for caviar. It's our signature design. We are known for the stack. This is how you start a stack, you buy that first piece and keep adding," said Isabelle.

And while you won't find any men's jewelry here, Isabelle says: "We are welcoming any gentleman who wants to come and buy for anyone who deserves Lagos in their life."
