We have some scary good freebies for this Friday as we head into Halloween.

FREE BEER AND PUMPKIN-CARVING CONTEST

First, Friday October 27th, it's the NoBa District's Final Friday Pumpkin Carving Contest.

They are offering free full-sized beers from La Cabra Brewing up until 9 p.m. Friday night.

The fun is all part of NoBA's effort to revitalize Bala Cynwyd's Bala Avenue corridor.

FREE TACO BELL

With the World Series comes Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion.

So, thanks to a stolen base by Cameron Maybin of the Astros, Taco Bell is giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos.

You can pick one up on Wednesday November 1st, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

FREE SCARY FACE PANCAKE

As it does every year, IHOP is giving kids a free scary face pancake on Halloween.

Kids, 12 and under, can create their own on Tuesday, October 31st, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

FREE CANDY CORN PIZZA

Also on Halloween, Chuck E. Cheese locations are giving kids in costumes 50 free tickets and a slice of candy corn pizza.

The pizza will be offered every hour from 4 to 8 p.m.

On Saturday, October 28th, comic book shops around the world will give out free comics to guests for Halloween ComicFest 2017.

FREE MEAL FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

Saturday, October 28th, is also National First Responders Day.

To honor them, all Hooters restaurants are offering all active first responders a free meal.

That includes EMTs, firefighters, and police officers, in uniform or with proper ID

FREE ACTIVITIES

Saturday, October 28th is also the 2nd annual Philly Free Streets event.

7 miles of city roads will close to traffic from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Not only does that mean pedestrians and cyclists can play in the streets, without any cars around... they can also enjoy a variety of free activities.,

That includes workouts, crafting, storytelling, dance lessons, bike repairs, and even a Pokemon GO game.
