VIDEO: Fire rescue caught on camera in Nicetown
One person is hospitalized after fire tore through three row houses in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia.

NICETOWN (WPVI) -- The dramatic rescue of a woman from a burning rowhome in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia was captured on video obtained exclusively by Action News.

Action News viewer Nicholas Green tells us he was working near the 4400 block of North 20th street around 9:15 a.m. when he saw flames.

The former volunteer firefighter and current electrician immediately parked his truck near the scene and walked over to try to help.

But before he could assist those running out of the adjacent buildings, flames engulfed the vacant home.

However, he did manage to record video of a neighbor rescuing a woman.

Fortunately, firefighters arrived within seconds and put out the blaze.

One person was taken to Temple Hospital for observation.

The cause is still under investigation.
