Fire crews battle house blaze in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a house fire in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday night.

It happened on the 7800 block of Chelwynde Avenue.

Crews arrived to heavy smoke coming from the rear of a two-story dwelling.

The fire was placed under control around 9:20 p.m.

There was no word on any injuries or cause of the blaze.
