Smoke, flames damage house in Limerick, Montgomery County

LIMERICK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Fire has heavily damaged a large house in Limerick, Montgomery County.

The blaze broke out before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Royersford Road.

Images from Chopper 6 HD showed heavy smoke and flames coming from the house and multiple firefighting units on the scene.

Action News is told the building houses several apartments.

Officials say everyone got out of the house safely.

Investigators were working to determine what sparked the fire.
