Firefighters on the scene where flames erupted inside a Maple Shade, New Jersey business Saturday morning.

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters are on the scene where flames erupted inside a Maple Shade, New Jersey business Saturday morning.

The fire broke out around 4:00 a.m. inside the South Jersey Mowers on the 600 block of Stiles Avenue, near the intersection of Route 73.

Several neighboring fire departments have been called to help contain the blaze.

An elderly woman who owns the business and lives in a home attached to the building is being treated for smoke inhalation.

She was taken to Kennedy Hospital in stable condition.

Officials say the showroom was destroyed by the fire.

A storage building that is holding snow-blowers and other equipment for repair was not been damaged.

The blaze was placed under control shortly before 8:00 a.m.

South Jersey Mowers has been in business for more than 30 years.

Both directions on Route 73 between High and Main Streets were closed due to all of the fire apparatus on the scene.

All lanes have since reopened.
