Firefighters rescue two people, dog in Parkside
Fire forced a family into the cold night air in Philadelphia's Parkside section early Sunday morning. Watch this report from Action News Mornings on December 17, 2017.

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Fire forced a family into the cold night air in Philadelphia's Parkside section early Sunday morning.

A 63-year-old woman in a wheelchair was rescued from her burning home on the 5800 block of West Master Street just after midnight.

A 66-year-old man was also rescued, along with the family dog from the second floor.

It took just ten minutes to bring the fire under control.

The American Red Cross is helping a total of four people displaced by the blaze.

The cause is under investigation.
