1 hurt after car crashes into pole in Juniata Park

JUNIATA PARK (WPVI) -- A driver lost control and hit a utility pole in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia.

The crash occurred before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 4500 block of East Fishers Lane.

The vehicle took down wires before landing on the roadway.

The driver was taken to the hospital for observation.

Police closed the road, while PECO crews made repairs.
