Florida man drags police officer for half-mile

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (WPVI) -- A Florida man faces attempted murder charges for dragging a police officer for about a half-mile.

The incident was caught on the officer's body cam.

The officer was investigating a drug-related incident in Pembroke Pines on Tuesday, when the driver took off, dragging the officer with him.

The officer eventually let go. He is expected to be OK.

The driver was arrested following a 20-mile police chase.
