Lawsuit filed over amount of air in potato chip bags
If you've ever been saddened to find more air than chips in your bag, you've got two men on your side.

If you've ever been saddened to find more air than chips in your bag, you've got two men on your side.

The men are angry about what they call bags full of air that they're suing a chip company and seeking justice for snackers everywhere.

These guys are suing Wise chips saying their bags are basically 70% air.

They've even entered proof with their suit, showing what they found when they ripped open a bag.

Of course, the air serves as padding, it's called slack fill, and is used to keep your chips intact.

Either way, the plaintiffs are seeking $1,500 for a violation as per the D.C. Consumer Protection Procedures Act.

They also want Wise to repackage their chips to no longer mislead customers.
