STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- For the second year in a row, a Philadelphia woman is making the holidays a little brighter for families in need.
Myrtle Strong held a toy drive this year and collected enough toys to help 35 families.
Strong chose families including single parents and grandparents who are raising children to give the toys to.
Action news was there as Strong, her husband and her son loaded up the boxes to deliver them Friday.
Strong says it is important to share "If you have a penny more than the next person, share it, if you have just a penny more, cause when kids wake up in the morning they wake up to Christmas"
She also says she enjoys giving back to her community.
This year the toys included toys, games, and a scooter for each child.
