Man shot in the chest in Frankford, suspect in custody

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A suspect was quickly taken into custody after a man was shot inside a home in Frankford.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Charles Street.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was shot in the chest.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Police say a suspect was taken into custody but no word on a motive.

The shooting is under investigation.
