WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Friends of a man who was killed in Wilmington's Rodney Square last month are calling on the city to install a plaque in his honor.
Thursday night, they gathered at the scene of the attack to rally for support.
Thomas Cottingham was stabbed to death while protecting a woman and her child from a man with a knife.
His friends say the mayor promised to install that plaque in Rodney Square.
But they say, the process is moving too slowly.
