FYI PHILLY: Last Minute Valentine's Ideas - February 11, 2017

This week on FYI Philly, it's a celebration of girl power with power tools! We meet some hot sauce-making sisters who have a new hot spot to eat. Valentine's procrastinators, we have you covered-from flowers delivered fresh and fast to breakfast in bed recipes and a host of romantic restaurants.

It's an FYI for you Saturday at 7pm on 6abc, with an encore presentation Sunday at midnight.

Valentine's Day Cocktail Recipes

Dark Rum New-Old Fashioned

2oz Dark Rum (Dictador Barrel Aged)

3 dashes Bitters

1/2oz Dark Agave Nectar

1 cherry & 1/2 slice of orange

Splash of Club Soda

Method: Put cherry, orange slice and bitters in rocks glass and muddle. Add rum and agave, fill with ice and stir, top with the splash of club soda.

Puppy Love

3/4 ounce creme de bananes

3/4 ounce cherry vodka

1/2 ounce heavy whipping cream

1/2 oz grenadine

Method: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and pour in all ingredients. Shake well and strain into a cordial glass.

First Crush

Lime juice, for rim of glass Sprinkles for coating rim (the kind used for ice cream) 3 ounces orange vodka 1 ounce fresh orange juice 1 ounce fresh lemon juice

Method: Rim a highball glass with lime juice and then sprinkles and set it aside. Shake all the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and pour into glass that was set aside
