The Georgetown Hoyas are ready to take on the Villanova Wildcats Tuesday night at the Pavilion. However, on Monday night, they jumped into action not on the court, but on the highway.

The Hoyas were making their way to Philadelphia when their bus was involved in an accident on I-95 near Baltimore.

The accident involved another vehicle - an SUV with a mother and son inside, according to Georgetown Athletics.

Players and coaches, along with police officers, assisted the two from the overturned vehicle.

They were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Georgetown University says there were no major injuries to members of the team.

Another bus was provided for the Hoyas to continue their trip.
