TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a man who has been grabbing girls in Trenton, including two incidents near a school.

Those two incidents happened last week near the Hedgepeth-Williams Middle School.

Police also say the same man grabbed a girl on the 100 block of Kent Street back in September.

The victims are all under 18 years old.

According to investigators, the man approaches the victims, grabs them in what is described as a sexual manner, then runs away on foot.

"It appears that he's becoming more aggressive and actually grabbing young females and simulating sexual acts," said Lt. Steve Varn of the Trenton Police Department.

The community is understandably concerned.

"I heard about it at my high school. Said that the guy was in the alleyway and when girls would go around - some of them live right over there - the guy would just grab them," said high school student Maria Estrada.

"First of all our concern is the safety of the kids. We've encouraged them to walk in groups. If you're going to come in late, have an adult escort you," said teacher Rena Moaning.

"He's becoming increasingly aggressive with what he's doing and we are very concerned about where this might lead, so we need to get him off the street as soon as possible," said Varn.

The suspect is described as a thin black male between 20 and 30 years old with a trimmed beard.

He has an accent, police say, and may be driving a black Toyota sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
