Protein blocker passes lab tests; animal tests next
LONDON, U.K. (WPVI) -- Some scientists say they may have found a way to cure the common cold.
Rather than attacking the virus, researchers in England are testing a treatment that blocks a key protein in the body's cells.
That protein is what viruses use to spread and make you sick.
Studies show it has worked in the lab to stop the cold virus.
But testing on humans is still a few years out.
