Growing up, your parents may have made you eat the crust on your sandwich, saying that it was the most nutritious part.

But that may not be true.

A registered dietitian tells CNN that the type of bread you eat matters way more than which part of it you consume.

The most nutritionally superior bread is 100% whole-wheat bread or 100% whole-grain bread.
