New study finds alcohol could help improve foreign language skills
New study finds alcohol could help improve foreign language skills. Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 7 a.m. on October 28, 2017.

A new study finds that alcohol might be able to help improve your foreign language skills.

Researchers in England followed 50 German students studying abroad.

They found that the students who drank a small amount of alcohol before conversations in a foreign language were more fluent.

The study's authors say a possible reason could be that alcohol helped reduce anxiety.
