Study: Junk food habit starts by age 1

There's concerning news about America's junk food habit.

According to a new federal survey, it starts a lot earlier than previously thought.

In fact, some kids go off-track as soon as they stop breastfeeding.

The survey found at about 9 months, some kids are being given small amounts of cake, cookies and brownies.

By 12 to 14 months, they're getting potato chips and soft drinks.

And the majority are only getting a few fruits and almost no vegetables.

The study leader says he doesn't entirely blame parents.

Sometimes kids are just picky eaters.
