Study reveals good, bad news for asthma rates

There is good news and bad news when it comes asthma.

A new report shows during the past decade, fewer kids have developed the chronic lung disease.

But the bad news is the rate is still growing for some groups including children born to poor families, and all kids ages 10 to 17.

Researchers say more needs to be done to control environmental factors such as cigarette smoke, mold, mildew and smog.
