Study suggests taking regular breaks from dieting
Study suggests taking regular breaks from dieting: Sarah Bloomquist reports during Action News at noon on September 20, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new study says taking regular breaks from your diet will reboot your metabolism and ultimately lead to better results.

Australian researchers found people who took a "two weeks on, two weeks off" approach to dieting actually dropped more pounds, compared to those who stayed on a diet for 16-weeks straight.

However the break weeks cannot be a total free-for-all.

You still have to be sensible and don't overindulge.
