Bragging about your workout, or just sharing your exercise regimen on social media, could help other people.

Researchers at M.I.T. say exercise - specifically running - is contagious.

They tracked more than one million runners over five years, including their locations and their social networks.

They found sharing running distance and pace helped to motivate other people.

For instance, if one person ran 10 minutes more than usual their friends would typically run longer than usual as well.

Now that your taxes are filed, doctors at the Cleveland Clinic suggest taking a look at how you budget your health and diet.

Just like you would budget your spending money, you should budget your calories.

Most adults need about 16 to 18-hundred calories per day, adding or subtracting depending on your activity level.

And just like you do for retirement, you should also look at the big picture health-wise to help prevent chronic diseases.

As for today's tip, tick season has arrived in the Lehigh and Delaware Valleys.

The population of black-legged ticks has exploded over the years, and so has the number of people diagnosed with Lyme Disease.

The best defense is prevention.

Experts recommend you use insect repellent with DEET.

Try to wear long sleeves and pants if you're in the woods.

Also, check yourself when you come inside. If you find and remove a tick within 24 to 36 hours, it can't transmit the disease.
