Rare illness impacts several children in Minnesota
Rare illness impacts several children in Minnesota. Gray Hall reports during Action News at noon on October 7, 2018.

Doctors have no idea why a rare illness has impacted several children in Minnesota.

A mysterious cluster of cases of Acute Flaccid Myelitis has struck seven-year-old Quinton Hill, and five other children in the state.

The disease can cause paralysis and even death.

Usually, Minnesota has no more than one case of the disease a year.
